An extraordinary CBI court on Monday augmented care of previous Noida Authority boss specialist Yadav Singh by two more days. Singh will be delivered in the court again on February 17.
“Extraordinary CBI Judge (hostile to defilement) G Sree Devi has given CBI Yadav Singh’s care for two more days.
“We had requested his care for three days as various records and archives identifying with the defilement allegations against him should have been be confirmed, however the court gave us just two days,” said CBI’s insight B K Singh.
Yadav Singh’s legal counselor Amit Khemka, then, said, “Since his capture on February 3 the court has conceded CBI Singh’s care for 12 days, yet the investigative office has neglected to deliver any verification to substantiate its claims. The CBI has nothing against my customer. They are just purchasing time on pointless grounds. We will take up our case in the court once my customer’s safeguard supplication comes up for hearing,” Khemka included. Yadav Singh was captured on February 3 taking after a FIR held up last July under areas 409, 420, 466, 467, 469 and 471 of the IPC and under Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.
CBI had charged Singh of honoring contracts worth Rs 954.38 crore to four manufacturers infringing upon standards.
