The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will soon get a discount of Rs 200 crore from the state government for a fizzled land obtaining bargain 10 years back.
In a meeting held a week ago, UP important secretary (income) conceded his endorsement for the arrival of the sum.
Authorities said YEIDA had sent a proposition for area procurement in Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr in 2005. The area was spread crosswise over 5,236 hectares in GB Nagar and 1,183 hectares in Bulandshahr, individually. Nonetheless, YEIDA had not got the land.In 2010, the area securing proposition passed and a punishment of 35% of the kept sum was required on YEIDA. This was Rs 188.65 crore, authorities said. Alongside hobby, this sum is currently Rs 200 crore.
YEIDA had been keeping in touch with the state government to see the matter to support its. “We had been requesting the punishment to be waived off,” said Arunvir Singh, CEO, YEIDA. “We need to disperse upgraded remuneration of 64.7 % to ranchers in the YEIDA territory for an area gained by the power,” he said.
“Not long ago, we had introduced our case to the essential secretary (income) and he had consented to our proposition. We will now keep in touch with chief secretary (foundation and modern advancement) Mahesh Kumar Gupta and look for his simultaneousness in the issue,” Singh said.
YEIDA needs to dispense Rs 6,000 crore as trekked pay for the area obtaining in the zone.
