Job Description : Introduction:

Danfoss Global Services, ( GS) part of 7 billion USD of Danfoss group, is the services arm supporting business verticals in the area of Climate & Energy. Global Services – Real Estate, owns and executes all real estate activities within the Organization.

The position would be global role based at our Danfoss , Chennai Office. Incumbent will liaison with Danfoss global counterparts to provide consistent and outstanding service in line with Global Real Estate practices and processes.This role will become the subject matter expert in providing solution to the Global & Regional Organization to enable smooth and fool proof decisions related to services in factories and other sales offices.

Candidate should be consistent, reliable and have eye for details ,highly energetic to execute assignments with little support. Proven track record in a similar set up is advantageous.

The job requires cooperation in the exchange of best practice and mutual support, thus ensuring world-class facility services for Danfoss.

Reporting to

Direct: Head of Global Service Center ( GSC) , Chennai

Organizational, strategic/technical/budget report: GS-RP Director

Geographical scope:

All Danfoss sites globally

Areas of Responsibilities:

Financial and data Controlling:

Building maintenance

Real Estate Charging Model

Building management systems

Energy Management

Management reporting

Coordination with other GS R employees in the Center for ensuring delivery

Real Estate:

Providing analysis/reporting for strategic decisions

Key tasks:

Monitoring and reporting on the economy GS-R

Reporting on milestones in the GS-R

Follow-up charging model

Provide Necessary data for strategic decisions

Help on economy Building Projects

Portfolio management

Success Criteria:

First class quality and delivery in financial information relating to GS R on time to various stakeholders

Coordination with other GS R employees to ensure delivery on time to other controllers on time

Minimum requirements to educational background:

Degree in economics/finance combined with a real estate understanding.

Technical understanding will be an advantage.

Minimum requirements to working experience:

5 years in facility management

Industrial facilities

Main focus economics and database.

Outsourcing FM services

Good communication and diplomatic capabilities coupled with strong inter personal skills is mandatory.

Willingness for changes

Other aspects

English on conference level

Moderate travel required

Important aspects, with impact on the job

Experience from working in global matrix organizations
