Town and Country Planning Department official said that the revision has been made to empower and expand investment of individual landowners, ranchers and nearby designers during the time spent arranged urbanization of low and medium potential towns. It would help in reducing part of open segment and HUDA for securing and creating land for urbanization because of stringent procurement of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The representative said that for Residential Plotted settlements, the current 50 sections of land of medium potential zone has been decreased to 15 sections of land and the current 25 sections of land of low potential zone has been diminished to 10 sections of land.
