GMC has begun take a shot at enhancing the Smart City proposition, which it had sent to the Union urban improvement service in December. GMC authorities held a meeting with the bureau of urban advancement in Lucknow a week ago to talk about a change arrangement for the proposition.
The updated proposition with the change arrangement consolidated into it will be sent to the urban advancement service for appraisal and determination in the second round of the Smart City Mission.
“Various perspectives in the prior proposition should be reconsidered,” a seior official said.
In the prior proposition, the community body had drawn up an evaluation of around Rs 1,120 crore to be spent on different framework ventures. As indicated by authorities, recommendations and suggestions will be welcomed from individuals from the overall population for consideration in the crisp proposition, which will be sent to the union urban advancement service subsequent to reviewing it through the Lucknow-based Regional Center for Urban and Environmental Studies (RCUES).
